In this video, I dive into the July ScrawlrBox and its inspiring prompt "To Infinity and Beyond". Using the Derwent Inktense blocks, Derwent waterbrush, and a Uni Pin fineliner, I created a vibrant portrait of Helen Sharman, the first female British astronaut to go into space. ✨ I loved using these supplies — especially the Inktense blocks! Come along on an adventure into the heart of the Cairngorms — where crisp mountain air, winding trails, and dappled light through the pines inspired a peaceful day of sketching and painting. With my Etchr sketchbook in hand, I began with pencil lines beneath the trees before bringing the scene to life using Schmincke Aqua Drop liquid watercolours and Winsor & Newton gouache from my trusty Go Draw palette.
