About Lucy Locks Art

Lucy Locks Art was founded in 2020 by Lucy Clapham, a self-taught artist with a lifelong love for animals, nature, and all things beautifully detailed. What began as a personal creative outlet has grown into a joyful brand filled with colourful creatures, lush landscapes, and whimsical designs, each lovingly illustrated in Lucy’s cosy Yorkshire studio.

What makes Lucy Locks Art unique is the perfect blend of curiosity, craftsmanship, and heart. Lucy brings together fine detail and playful design, offering artwork and products that spark wonder—whether it's a lovingly hand-drawn pet portrait, a vibrant enamel pin, or a thoughtfully designed journal kit.

Guided by a deep passion for wildlife and the environment, Lucy’s work is not only joyful but intentional. Many of her products are eco-conscious, printed on recycled papers or made in small batches, with sustainability in mind.

But at the heart of it all is storytelling: each product has a purpose, and every creature drawn feels like a character in Lucy’s illustrated world. Whether you’re a fellow creative, a stationery lover, or simply someone who appreciates the magic in the little things—Lucy Locks Art was made for you.

Natalie

Part-time organiser, full-time cheerleader. Natalie is the glue that holds Lucy Locks Art together. Whether she’s packing orders, keeping me on track, or being roped into last-minute filming, she makes the magic happen. An un-paid intern if you will!

Freddie

Our lovable little shorthair with a big heart. Rescued from the streets and now ruling the sofa, he insists on being wherever we are – dishing out cuddles, head bumps, and the occasional playful nip. Equal parts rascal and sweetheart, he’s our daily dose of furry joy.

Mabel

Mabel is a giddy, boisterous English Springer Spaniel who keeps us on our toes and fills our days with endless tail wags. She might test our patience now and then, but she’s brought a kind of joy we never knew we were missing.
